Fragrance Safety & IFRA Information
Beautiful fragrance begins with informed, responsible use.
Our safety approach
Supplier identity alone does not establish that a finished product meets a particular use limit. Product-specific supplier documentation and the intended application must be reviewed together.
About IFRA Standards
The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) Standards restrict, prohibit, or set specifications for certain fragrance materials. IFRA does not certify individual products, and Poetic Scents does not represent itself or its finished products as “IFRA certified.”
Before a product is represented as conforming to an IFRA use limit, its current supplier documentation must be reviewed for the exact fragrance oil, finished-product type, and intended use. A Certificate of Conformity does not replace a finished-product safety assessment or applicable federal, state, or local requirements.
